😐 My child gets bored of every toy in two days. Will this be different?
Most toys have one trick, and once a toddler solves it, it's over. This board has 30+ separate tasks across six pages, and they get harder as your child grows — a 15-month-old plays with the velcro flaps; the same child at three is tying the shoelace. Rotate the pages instead of showing all six at once and it stays new for months.
🛡️ Is it safe? Are there small parts?
The board is soft felt with reinforced stitching, no hard edges and no batteries. It does contain small attached pieces such as beads and buttons, so we recommend supervised play under 3, as with any Montessori material.
👶 What age is it best for?
1 to 5 years. Between 1 and 2 they mostly explore textures, flaps and velcro. From about 18 months the buckles and zips start clicking. By 3+ they're doing laces, clock hands and counting.
🆚 How is it different from the cheaper boards online?
Three things: the pages detach so two kids can play at once or you carry just one, the parts are stitched rather than glued, and the felt is a thicker child-safe grade that doesn't shed after a week. Cheaper boards are usually one stiff piece with 8–10 basic activities.
🎒 Will it fit in a diaper bag?
Yes. Folded it's about 28 × 22 cm and 450 g — roughly a school diary, lighter than a full water bottle. Most parents keep it permanently in the car or the travel bag.
🧼 Can I wash it?
Spot clean only. Damp cloth with mild soap, then air dry flat. Don't machine wash or soak it — felt loses shape when fully wet.
